"Great location and friendly staff! "

"This motel has not been thoroughly cleaned or updated in decades. There was no overhead light in the room- only small desk lamps that would turn off randomly. There were stains on the wall, some of which had been covered off with mismatched paint. All of the furniture is beat up and damaged in some way. The bed sheets had permanent stains even if washed. There were dirty hand towels, food, and dirt under the bed. There was a man asleep on the stairs outside the room in the morning which was quite alarming. I did not feel comfortable or safe in this room and would advise against staying here. I will not stay here again."

"Heating unit was fine. There was a couple of eating places near by."

"Unfortunately pets are welcomed to every room with a kitchen, rather than more select room. We were not aware of this and upon entry we were hit with an indescribable smell. Was it age, as the building and furniture are older, or something else. Once we learned that dogs are permitted in the kitchen rooms we realized the smell is a combination of pets and deordorizer similar to the smell at a veterinary office. We stayed one night and left in the morning. Thankfully they gave us a refund for nights not used."

"Shops nearby were helpful. Super close to a big Macy’s that had food options and in walking distance of a Trader Joe’s. The pool was under maintenance while we stayed which we were not informed about before hand. That was disappointing. "

"Clean room, comfortable bed and pillows, soft towels, great location across from Golden Gate Park, several restaurants and cafes around, good breakfast, wine and refreshments every night. Nice staff. Highly recommended when in the area. "
