"This is a well maintained property with limited (8 rooms) capacity. Staff is very helpful and prompt in service. The surroundings of this property are serene and beautiful. It's peaceful in and around. The only improvement I think can be made in some common area development for residing guests (dining area and some recreational area) and food options in breakfast. "Excellent stay. Very hospitable and knowledgeable hosts (Suman and husband) and extremely helpful staff. The food and conversation are great, the views are nice and the hotel is conveniently located from forest trails and a lovely sunset point. Overall, we had a very nice stay for three nights at the Hermitage in Kanatal."

"It’s a nice place but before booking you should know that there are two wings upper and lower with a distance of about 300-400meters. It’s a steep walk and there is one gypsey available to commute between the two wings.
Lower wing has cottages but they are smaller in size compared to rooms in upper wing.
But all the facilities are like restaurant, pool, play area etc are in lower wing so if you get a room in upper wing you are basically stuck on the availability of the gypsey.
