"This place was a gem! Obviously an older property, but very well maintained and kept clean. The view was spectacular from our balcony, the room was nicer than I expected. The front desk gentleman was extremely friendly and helpful (he was the only employee we had any interaction with) There were only 2 minor drawbacks. The beds were not comfortable at all (to be fair they were in the process of bringing in new mattress, we know this for sure because we actually saw them throwing out old ones with lots of new ones that had just been delivered April 2026). We aren't sure if it was from age or use but just plain uncomfortable, they were also too small for my wife and I to sleep together, which was odd. Secondly, the whirlpool tub (which was soooooooo nice and relaxing) was just showing it's age. The jets were not powerful at all, but it still made an amazing soaking tub! These two tiny issues are definitely not enough to keep us away for another visit! While we were there we also saw, and commented to each other how nice it was seeing a hotel put money back into their property, there were brand new mattress, mini fridges and microwaves. Definitely book here if you are looking for somewhere to stay with an amazing view all day and night!!"

"Breakfast was a do it yourself waffle and some eggs, bagels, juice,coffee, toast, banana or apple, ABSOLUTELY NO MEAT whatsoever. I am pissed with Expedia and will not use them ever again! They advertise false pricing and it was the second time in a months span they misquoted. When I called Expedia customer service, they didn't seem to care at all that both times my charges were close to $100 more than they "GUARANTEED" their pricing. Absolutely nothing was offered to me from Expedia for them completely scamming me TWICE! I will be making a complaint with the BBB against Expedia for false advertisement. DO NOT PAY ATTENTION TO EXPEDIA'S little pop up box quote saying" what you see is what it is! each time it has been different price for me at checkout. Expedia took away my choice for me. I will be returning to Hotwire and should have never left! I've used Hotwire for over 15 years and was ALWAYS SATISFIED, NO HIDDEN FEES, NO GIMMICKS! I listened to a friend about Expedia and I'm PISSED to say the least🎯 they lack in customer service , lady simply went silent on me, she had nothing to say, and when she did respond after I said hello, she said yes ma'am sometimes they have other fees, I said well how can you advertise as the TOTAL FEE then! and not expect customers to be upset over close to $100 extra this day in age without informing us!! SCAM🎯"

"Staff were awesome. View was awesome. Location was really good. Breakfast was barely adequate, with very few options for diabetics. We chose to eat breakfast in town the 2nd day. On the bright side, we really liked the staff, even in the breakfast room. They were to a person happy, bright, and helpful."
