Good value for money. Especially for the area. We had a two bedroom apartment which was clean and spacious. Beds were comfy. Interior is a little dated but didn’t bother us. Reception staff were very friendly. Great location with the beach and cafes a short walk. Short drive to the plaza and Mooloolaba.

I chose Catalina Apartments because of their location - about 100 m from Maroochydore beach and Surf Living Saving Club. Checking in was quick and efficient and the apartment was clean, well-furnished and well-equipped ... but it also features several splashes of bright colour with artificial flowers and "coastal" art works. Key tag access to garage and to rooms helps secure a safe environment. Cotton Tree Plaza is five minutes' walk away - great Delhi, bakery, liquor shop, Fish 'n' Chips shops, Newsgency etc. The resort's public gardens are pretty and there is a pleasant outdoor pool with good BBQ facilities. There is a sauna, a free tennis court and a small games room. I had read some pretty worrying reports before arriving, but I cannot really fault my room - Unit 28 in Tower I - other than the dim lighting and plastic flowers. I would return.

We loved staying at the Catalina apartments. Room was spacious, clean and modern. We had an ocean view room so the view was ever-changing. We loved how the master suite was separate to the kids room, and the luxury of 2 bathrooms. Although the building seemed to be full, we never heard any noise through the walls. Bed was comfortable and the shower was great (although needed a bit of fiddling to get it to stay on the wall). Well equipped kitchen. 2 minutes walk to the beach which was lovely. We would definitely stay here again.

Extremely disappointing to have a room with a lift behind our heads in the room . And to have renovations from 6.45 am each morning and delivers at 5.15 am rubbish removal right outside our window.Have never stayed in a worst place need cleaning in shower as well

Convenient to surf club budget studio apartment was in need of a complete make over and cooking conditions no exhaust system over hot plates moisture runs off cupboard into food air-conditioning cords exposed, water dripping in wardrobe from air-conditioner into waste its very budget would not recommend thus room at all

Lovely room, plenty of room for 2 adults & 2 children. All the amenities the room had, bonus having a washing machine & dryer. Washing machine was great, with having kids. So very quiet, didnt hear traffic or other guests. Pool area was sensational & games room.

I was disappointed with the location of our unit as I booked a garden unit for our stay, but ended up looking out on a tennis court and concrete backs of buildings. Beware if you book thru sn online booking site. You wont get the best of the options
