「Clean, delicate and spacious apartment with a great view (firework and Kiss Bridge). Walking distance to a lot of restaurants, also with traditional Vietnamese food. Frequently used the gym as well, so that was a lovely bonus. They even picked us up from our first hotel stay on the island and drove us to the airport when we were leaving. For us this was a great place to stay while we explored the island on our own. Communication beforehand and during the stay was also very good. Would stay...

「Check in was easy and the staff were helpful even when they don't speak english. Room was clean and bed was also comfy. One of the rooms we booked had faulty aircon but staff went out of their way to repair. 」

「A newer hotel just 10 minute walk to where the nightly fireworks are staged. The breakfast that was included was at another Lotus hotel, just a 5 minute walk but they also provided a golf cart ride there. The breakfast had about 10 choicest, which was good, but no coffee etc included, just a glass of water. The staff were nice and helpful knew some English. When we booked it included 2 tickets on the cable car to the island with the water park. So a huge saving on the price. A great deal.」

「No beach view, and the beach is far from the hotel. There are many mosquitoes, the private pool lacks a filtration system and is not clean. The homestay only has a metal gate, and the front door cannot be locked—security is only provided by guards outside the compound. No sea view, no gym, not close to the beach, and no free shuttle service. The only advantages are the well-designed interior facilities and the host's willingness to communicate. 」

「We were redirected to stay at The Sea Residences which is one of the same apartment blocks in that series. Housekeeping was once every two days but they did a fantastic job. Amazing views of the sea horizon and fireworks from the balcony. No issues with transport as there are always buggys/Grab cars and Xanh SM drivers waiting around to offer you a ride.
