I had had a wonderful experience at a Studio 6 in Buttonwillow, so it was a shock to see the area around this Studio 6 -- the area was rundown, dirty, and unsafe. The lobby door was licked to keep the street people out. The exterior of the motel was dirty and in bad repair. There were people sitting on the stairs outside.
