When we arrived Tom showed us around and told us to help ourselves to anything in the dining area including a wide assortment of coffee, tea and snacks in addition to wine. 「We had a wonderful two night stay at The Rex! I loved the stylish design aesthetic of the hotel and the attention to detail. We were there for the eclipse, and we appreciated that they left us a welcome gift with eclipse glasses and a cute little reusable tote. Each room has their own fire pit, and we made s’mores each night. We hiked allover Promised Land State Park which was accessible on-site at The Rex. We plan to go back! 」

「My husband and I had an event at the local casino whose rooms were booked so we found this property by accident. We stayed only one night as to be back to work the next day so it was only a "crash pad" since we live 45-50 minutes away. The room was clean and the bed was very cozy. We had a coffee maker and the coffee provided was very good. The woman who checked us in was friendly and provided a history on the property which was very informative and interesting. 「This was our very first time staying at the Mount airy hotel and casino. We stayed there for Mother’s Day weekend and we had such a great time. It’s nice and quiet and best of all no kids lol. It was refreshing to have an adult only. the dining options are great and there’s local shopping at the outlets which are only a short drive away. Also themovie theater is within driving distance. The only drawback is that there are no refrigerators in the room. But will definitely be back! 」
