We stayed at this beautiful villa for an extended period and honestly, it might be one of the nicest places we’ve experienced in Bali. The villa itself is stunning, spacious, thoughtfully furnished, and the view is simply breathtaking, the kind you want to just sit and soak in every morning with your coffee. A quick note for future guests: the location is wonderfully remote, so don’t expect to stroll to shops or restaurants nearby. Bring your own transport or plan ahead, but honestly, that’s part of the charm. It means true peace and quiet, away from the noise and crowds, which for us made it feel like a real retreat. What really made the stay special was the staff and the owner. Communication was excellent from start to finish, always quick to respond, always warm and accommodating. Everyone made us feel genuinely welcome, like part of the family rather than just guests passing through. We stayed long-term and would return in a heartbeat if we’re lucky enough to visit Bali again. Highly recommend, especially if you’re looking for a quiet, private escape with wonderful hosts.

Imam the owner was very kind and was quick to sort out minor problems. The staff were very helpful and very pleasant.The only critism I have was the beef in the restaurant on two occasions was a not as described sirloin was not sirloin, dissappointed. Kitchen staff were helpful sorting out my breakfasts pandering to my needs of strong tea , not one tea bag in a pot at breakfast. The villa felt safe and clean some of the furniture a bit dated. Beautiful setting lush trees and the sound of the river in the background. It a place to go unwind relax and have minimal interactions. Great for couples spending time together I guess. I would stay again. Villa Misari I wish you all a happy future.

séjour agréable

Séjour très agréable. La villa est vraiment spacieuse, avec piscine privée sans vis à vis. Le restaurant de l’hôtel propose une offre large, international à indonésienne. Les repas sont bons mais peu copieux (homme avec un bon appétit).

Beautiful setting , fantastic pool , very secluded but service at the hotel was non existent , very , very limited menu at the restaurant ( rat bait in the corner) Poor transport from the hotel , only one way . Some of the staff were most unhelpful and didn't seem to care . We left after two days and went elsewhere for our last three days .

Quiet hotel at the edge of the jungle

Although we wouldn't rate this as a 4 star hotel, our stay here was just perfect for our requirements of as a 2 day stopover on return to UK from NZ. Our villa did look a bit tired with some paint flaking off the walls. All the villas have good privacy due to being built on a steep hillside and the grounds are really nice to walk around....there are also a couple of good viewing points of the river below. We didn't leave the hotel on this visit due to the weather (it was monsoon season) and found the restaurant more than adequate.

We loved how quiet and peaceful it was. The staff was extremely friendly and always helpful. We suggest offering a shuttle service to the nearby villages since it is remote from them. Also, there is smoke from burning trash that isn’t pleasant to breathe and finally the wifi signal was very weak. We still really enjoyed our time here!

Wat gedateerd meubilair. Restaurant ademt geen sfeer uit maar personeel en keuken zijn goed. Naast zwembad zijn er verder weinig faciliteiten. Prima plek om wel tot rust te komen in de prachtige natuur en het mooie uitzicht.

Great hotel, overlooking the river. The villas are lovely and spacious and kept nice and clean. The plunge pool is a really good size with a day bed next to it. The main pool is gorgeous, loved it, had it too ourselves most days. Drawbacks - there is not much close by, they do drop off in Ubud once a day but you have to make your own way back or book the driver. kIe pride itan my job and my position here at Valley View and endeavour to complete all my work to the best of my ability.

A private villa in paradise

What an amazing hotel!! What amazing staff !! They went above and beyond to make our stay perfect. Even cooked a Christmas Dinner for us and served it privately by the pool! We had a two bedroom villa it was clean ,very spacious , comfortable beds with a private pool ! We had a large dining room table , where they served meals at no extra cost. And they provided us a private driver Buddy who was amazing . We would highly recommend this hotel

Fantastic

Wonderful quiet place away from the madness looking out over the hills. It looks exactly like the photos. As with mostly everywhere in Bali, the staff are amazing. The hotel driver Wayan speaks great English & is more than happy to explain the Balinese culture & practices. We stayed here for our first of the three weeks - we are now spoilt for anywhere else. Will definitely stay here again if we come back to Bali, but will make it our last stop :)

Comfortable overnight stay in private villa

Service at Bali Masari was outstanding! We had booked a cycle for the morning which somebody else had taken & staff went out of their way to find us a driver and waited for our return even when delayed. Very polite and helpful staff. The serenity and seclusion of the villas is an absolute highlight. They are so spacious & private plunge pool is a very nice touch. Only limitations are distance from places and lack of range of choices from breakfast & dinner menus. Overall a tranquil and relaxing getaway with amazing staff!

Prachtige villa's in groene vallei!

Bali Masari is prachtig! Grote villa's in een vallei waar apen & ijsvogels te zien zijn en de Tokeh te horen is! Het dorp is vlakbij, het strand niet maar ook niet de moeite( klein en zwart plus sterke stroming!). Wel belangrijk: als je niet goed trappen kunt lopen dan níet gaan! De treden zijn hoog; je moet altijd trappen lopen wil je naar het zwembad of naar het restaurant of de receptie. Het eten daarentegen wordt wel altijd op je kamer geserveerd mocht je dat willen. Het 'plonsbad' / spa is heerlijk als je wilt afkoelen; ala je slecht kunt lopen is het lastig: alle Spa's zijn met een trap te bereiken.. Ze waren voor mijn vriend wel zo goed om ligbedden bij onze spa te brengen zodat wij daar konden blijven( hij is moeilijk ter been), service! Fijn resort, niet te groot, heerlijk rustig gelegen en ook goed restaurant !

Very far from the city

No hot water, we fount ant in the bed, the private pool is small and dirty Not too much choices regarding the food menu very limited! The hotel is very far from the city

We loved this place that we extended our visit for another couple of days. Every staff member are friendly and helpful, and made our stay very pleasant. They met all our needs and more! Thank you very much Bali Masari Villas for your kindness and hospitality. We will always remember it.

Good spacious rooms. Great private pool with a nice view. Great service. They were very helpful. Breakfast was good but the dinner options could need an improvement especially since there is far to another restaurant.

Peaceful hotel in the Mountains

This hotel is exactly what i was looking for. Great room, Fantastic views, out of the main tourist areas with peace & quiet in abundance. This hotel is perfect if you are wanting to get away from everything and stay in comfort whete nothing is too much trouble for the wonderful staff.

Magical location

Was lovely. Although it rained a lot the pool could still be used. The staff were very curtious and friendly. The food in the restaurant was also very good.

自然に囲まれたのどかなビラです。

溪谷の縁にありとても癒されますよ。特にスパの個室からの眺めは最高です。サルにたぶんルアックが見られます、敷地内の手入れも良くされており色々な植物、花などももとても美しいです。ビラも古いなりにきちんとお掃除、手入れされてます。スタッフも親切で色々気にかけて下さいます。朝食も３種類から選択ですがちょっとわがまま言っても大丈夫です。空港の迎えの✉は２度送りましたがやはり入りませんでした。 時間帯によっては✉携帯電話が通じにくいです。後電子レンジ、湯沸しポットは有りますがこんろはありません。
