"The room was nice and roomy and we love the fireplace! Everything was mostly clean, but there's definitely some normal wear and tear that comes with a hotel that's been there awhile. The staff was fantastic!! And the breakfast was delicious. Sad the pool was closed but we enjoyed the close proximity to downtown Frederick and the myriad of restaurants and shops there, as well as right across the street in Westview. "

"Nice, quiet, and cozy place to stay. Comfy beds and clean rooms. Ample continental breakfast and good restaurants within walking distance. It’s an old house but is well kept and everything is in decent shape. Guests must carry luggage up one or two flights of stairs. Good value overall."

"Staff is very good at this hotel. Hotel is located at a very central location and very easy to get to the main interstates (i270) as well. Metro station is a 10 minute drive away."
