Had "drive up room"- our door was blocked by another car and a snowbank. The door was a sliding patio door, with a dicey cement step in front of it. Can't lock door from the outside, so you have to still walk through hotel to get to your car. Do not recommend. The room was clean, coffee tea were available. Beds very comfy. Toilet had a loose base and was rocky! Fan in bathroom started with a loud squeal, then was quiet-not the greatest for the midnight bathroom run!

We were greeted upon our arrival. Even tho it says 3pm, we were able to go in at 2:30. Room was clean but lots of big “ink” stains on carpet and floor in bathroom was full of hair Parking was a little tricky since the big snow storm but we managed. Breakfast is always a hit.

Stayed here before was never as bad as this pool area was very unclean cloudy and door area very dirty false eye lashes on floor garbage we made children shower after being in it but would not allow them back . Children running up down hallway you can here it clear on top of our room and knocking on peoples door s at midnight control needed to be put in place . Will think again before I stay here another time very dissapointed

My stay was good, but one staff was not. I had a question after my stay so I called the main desk. Unfortunately the lady did not understand what I was talking about. Instead of saying, sorry I don't understand what your saying, let me transfer you to someone who can, she hung up on me. Keeping in mind I was polite and repeated my question 3 times. I get not everyone understands everyone, so no big deal, transfer me to someone who can. I called back and asked for a manager. She transfered me to a managers voicemail. I left my name, number, asked that he contact me back. It's been 3 days so far and I have not been contacted. Disappointed in the staff. It takes two seconds to pick up a phone and call a guest back.

The stay was disappointing overall. The listing on Expedia indicated that a complimentary continental breakfast was included, but this amenity was not actually provided. Additionally, the hair dryer in our room was broken, which was inconvenient. To make matters worse, another guest frequently parked in front of our drive-up room for most of our stay, defeating the purpose and convenience of booking a drive up room

Clean, quiet. We’ve stayed multiple times. My only complaint, is that if I’ve reserved a room for 3 people, and booked a room with two queen beds, there be towels for all three guests. I know I can ask for more, but it’s inconvenient.

This property was run down - the cleanliness of the hotel was very sub standard - the room we were given had an unpleasant odour - perhaps it was a room spray or cheap cleaning chemicals - the shower curtain smelled when it got wet cracks in the bathroom drywall - black stains on the grout in washroom - the room had vinyl floor which one would think would be easier to clean however there was dirt and garbage under the bed - there were marks on the walls - the pillow cases were a dingy yellow grey colour mixed in with a newer white one - which made it stand out even more - there was hair stuck in the coffee maker - most likely from a cloth being wiped over it - I am not normally one to review a property but found this to be a very unkept hotel - arrived around 215 ( check in was 3 I was told I would have to wait untill 230 room not ready - understandably - however once 230 hit I was told - room was ready - when getting to room there were no cleaners to be found anywhere on floor? I think they just did this because there is a fee for early check in’s - the staff at front desk didn’t talk to me, instead talked to each other in a language I didn’t understand - the pool area was dirty and the water was a cloudy colour - the size of the pool was perfect - having both a shallow and a deep end - this hotel is located in a prime area in Sudbury close to many popular attractions - my daughter said she stayed here last year and had a upper level room that perhaps recently renovated

We chose this property for its proximity to Science North and its pool for a family trip to Sudbury. The location was great for this. The pool however was pretty basic and a little sketchy if I’m honest. The kids loved it, but the water was so cloudy you couldn’t see your waist. The pool area was a bit dirty, and in disrepair, and the water was COLD. Our room was clean and the bathroom etc in good shape, and functioned fine. Heads up though, I’m not sure there’s any soundproofing… we heard kids running in hallways, TVs, people talking etc all night long. We just turned up our white noise machines, but if you’re sensitive to noise, wouldn’t recommend. The staff were friendly and helpful. The Perkins restaurant was great- good food and excellent service. Our stay was *fine, but I’d probably look for something different for next stay.

There was such limited on site parking available that we spent at least half an hour every night driving around trying to figure it out. And when we asked the clerk in the lobby where we were supposed to park he said “anywhere, you don’t have to worry about getting a ticket” and when we let him know there was NO parking spots he didn’t have any other suggestions for us. The carpeting in the halls and stairs was heavily soiled and smelled horrible. When we walked into the room it smelled horrible. The fan in the bathroom sounded like a jet plane taking off and didn’t actually work, making some loud banging noises. There was water marks and stains running down the walls from all the humidity in the bathroom. There was no Kleenex or conditioner, and the two small shower towels they had were dirty. The drain didn’t work in the bathtub, so when you had a shower you were standing in water up to your ankles. The stair wells and hallways wreaked of cigarette and marijuana smoke, as did the room next to our non-smoking room. We chose a non-smoking room because our son has medical and breathing issues. Our family staying in another room that they had booked for four people only had two small shower towels. So when they went to the lobby to ask for more towels the clerk threw some towels onto the dirty check in counter for them.. not okay!
