"We frequently stay in mid level hotels for hockey tournaments in Sudbury and this was by far the nicest of that type we have experienced in the city. Our minimal interactions with staff were pleasant, the room was updated and clean and the breakfast was fine. From now on this will be our go to hotel for sports trips."
"The tub was horrible it took 1 hour to drain after having a shower, the staff were rude as if we were interrupting them from something that was more important/interesting then serving the customer. The noise was unbearable from the other customers. I was there for school and got very little sleep due to the noise. The cleaners wore so much cologne/perfume that it makes you nauseous. "
"I was very impressed with the cleanliness of the room and the available workspace made my stay there very easy. The kitchen facility was also very well stocked and convenient.
The only thing I found disappointing was the breakfast"
"I honestly have no idea who is giving this place high ratings, but my experience was terrible. This is not a hotel — it’s basically a run-down roadside motel.
The guy at the front desk seemed completely out of it and very unprofessional. The entire place feels poorly managed and sketchy.
The rooms are outdated, the air conditioners are extremely loud, and the walls are so thin that you hear everything. People in neighboring rooms were drinking and making noise late into the night, so getting any rest was nearly impossible.
And the “breakfast” they advertise? Don’t expect one. There is essentially no real breakfast — just a few cheap items that most people wouldn’t even touch. Calling it breakfast is misleading.
Overall, this place feels more like a stop for people partying than a place to actually rest. I would absolutely not recommend staying here."
