Wonderful hotel in every aspect. The room is spacious and the shower is luxurious with indoor spring bathtub. The breakfast is pleasant to the eyes and tasteful to the mouths. The staff is helpful and professional. Highly recommend this hotel to everyone who visits this area.
We've got the harbor view and mountain view on the 12th floor. We love the hot spring, but wouldn't dare to soak in the cold spring for too long. The hotel room, staff and the food were all very good!
Need to choose a sea view room to enjoy the sunrise from the balcony and you can enjoy both hot spring and cold spring in your room with very nice view. Quite a relaxing and pleasant stay.

Staff made our stay!
The hotel staff were truly amazing. They were so eager to accommodate just anything we wish to have to make our stay pleasant and that made a lot of difference.
I love the cold & hot spring in this hotel. It’s wonderful that we can have breakfast until noon. If you want to enjoy hiking and great view, you can go to the Seven Stars Ridge right next to SuAo cold spring.
Our room is equipped with 2 baths including hot and cold spring. Spacious with a huge balcony overlooking the port. The view is beautiful! The breakfast is even better providing lots of choice.
Stay for 1 nights with half board, steamboat dinner and breakfast are delicious, breakfast has more variety of dishes as compare to other hotel in taichung and taipei. Welcome drinks was serve to our room. Like the hot and cold spring bath. Very comfortable room, hope to come back again.
Staff are very friendly and helpful. Beds are clean. Bathroom wore off a little bit due to normal use of hot spring and cold spring water. The spring water is orange-brown color with mild scent. The view to the harbor is quite nice. Overall speaking, a nice stay.
Despite the luxurious hotel stay and the amazing personal hot and cold springs in our room, the dinner options are unfortunately somewhat limited and come at a high cost. Thankfully there are multiple restaurants all nearby.
Good hotel in a sad neighborhood. If you do not have a car you are essentially limited to the hotel restaurant as the city of Su'ao offer limited options for dining as a family. Similarly, it is hard to enjoy the Yilan region as the public transit options are not frequent and require extreme planning to go around.
That said the hotel itself has great staff, a wonderful breakfast buffet and is overall a good place to be.
My only gripe is the design of the bathrooms that is annoying when traveling as a family that is neither Japanese nor Finnish and do not practice nudity as a group. Would have been fine, had we traveled as a couple. Bedding and all other amenities were great.
Our check in experience was very good. Language didn't proved to be sent problem. Thank God. However the ALCO promo was an absolute disaster. Food was awful. Selection of alcohol, very poor! A cheap offer didn't mean list inclusions!
