「Nothing was too much for the staff, the breakfast was lovely as was the food. It was our anniversary and we were upgraded to a suite. We will be back.」

「The staff were all extremely friendly and helpful. Although I am a lone woman, I didn’t feel at all uncomfortable either staying at The Bell, or walking around Thetford in general. I thoroughly recommend The Bell, and will be staying there again. I had previously stayed at the Travelodge in Thetford. 」

「Lovely two night stay for us with our two dogs at the George hotel. The staff were really helpful and friendly. The room was comfortable and clean although it would've been helpful to have a grab rail in the shower for us 'oldies'.」

「Our stay here was fine for the 2 nights we were there. We did have an issue with food on the first night as we arrived on a Sunday late afternoon and the pub next door was shut . We couldn't arrange anything else in the area as Taxi's were impossible to get hold of. We survived... and the 2nd night we ate at the pub and that was great.」

「Last minute night away , lovely welcome from owner showed us where we could park ,how to get to our room and chatted to us for bit,lovely man. Was about 7:30 pm when arrived so we popped are bags in room and then went local town for food , later after back we went to swimming pool for hour was absolutely lovely sooo warm and inviting spent over hour in there had to ourselves ,back in room we got into comfy beds and watched tv before sleeping , In morning got up early went to sweet little diy...

「Easy check in. Lovely big room. Very clean with a huge bed a compact but adequate bathroom. Loved the in room continental breakfast. In all, a very comfortable nights stay and would definitely stay again.」

「Room clean and comfy with plenty of space. Be aware the floor in room not level but not a problem for us once we realised. Stairs to room a bit wobbly so you need to take care. Old building but clean. Breakfast was delicious with local butchers sausage and bacon. Parking a bit of a problem so we had to park in public car park for 3 Hours ( Free) until space available. 」

「Lovely location. We were given a room in the courtyard, nicely decorated with simple furnishings. Tea,coffee and milk provided but no bottled water, which would usually be expected. The bathroom was adequate but the shower grouting was a bit grim. Food in the restaurant was excellent as was the service, the beer garden was lovely.」

「Stayed just the one night and very happy. Clean, comfortable and an excellent breakfast in the morning. A little out of the way, so car is a must. We stayed in the Willow room which had a lovely view out onto the garden. Only had minor niggles, bed was a double, not a king which I am used to (but double was in booking info). Doors are creaky and door catch noisy, so a quiet toilet visit in the night is difficult. Would definitely stay again if in the area.」
