"Ideal location.
Enjoyed playing the golf course. Pretty good condition given the difficult hot and dry weather and lack of rain.
Would certainly be happy to return."
"The room was spotlessly clean with lovely new carpets and bathroom. We stayed in an executive suite which had a lovely view of the golf course. It was a very hot weekend and the window hardly opened with no air con (just a fan that did very little as the large window let a lot of heat in). If it had air con we would have been very happy. Breakfast was very nice, lots of space everywhere, and our room was quiet even when a party was going on in the front of the building. The swimming pool/sauna/steam room included in the price and a nice relaxing thing to do (just need £1 for locker and they lend you towels). Staff were all friendly."
"Really excellent place to stay, was a pleasure to chat to the owner over an excellent pie and mash in the pub, very understanding about an early rise for a sporting event the next day."
"Pleasant hotel with spa facilities about 20 minutes drive from Norwich. Having a good size pool with steam room, sauna and jacuzzi was really useful.
Breakfast was excellent - usual buffet with the addition of cooked to order items such as avocado toast, eggs Benedict, etc.
Lack of aircon in the bedrooms was a serious deficiency - not helped by the room being fairly small. Bathroom was very cramped. Lack of a fridge was also a disappointment. Especially as there was a cupboard under the TV obviously designed to hold a fridge.
On the whole I would recommend this hotel to anyone who wants to be in close driving proximity to Norwich and wants spa facilities - but steer clear of warmer months."
"The owners of the pubvwent above and beyond in sorting out my nightmare with Red Letter Days voucher. Also very friendly the food was all home cooked and portions were large. Amazing value fir money"
"Very good Breakfast
Friendly staff at reception. Especially one at kitchen she was really friendly and helpful
Air conditioned room
Very good for price"
"The hotel was very dated and our room was small. We were in an attic room and the stairs up to it were steep and not very wide. There was far too much furniture in the room for the size of it. The bed was a very small double bed but it was clean. There was nowhere near the dressing table to plug in my hairdryer or straightners.
The meals at night were ok but the breakfast was really good. All of the staff were helpful and very pleasant. We enjoyed the beer garden but it could have been better kept."
