"The property was excellent and the facilities, I just didn’t appreciate the housekeeping knocking on my on my door at 10.30am about me checking out.
I also had very nice treatments outside on the terrace but then it was ruined by the hotel calling me 3 times and telling me that I had left the hotel and I need to come back and pay the bill I spoke to a manager and was he was very apologetic over the situation and we were complimented a free bottle of wine
After than that the whole experience was...

"This is a beautiful place to stay and I can imagine in the summer the gardens will be wonderful. Our room was very quiet but it did get really warm, so I can understand why there was a fan in the room. The staff were very friendly. We used the gym and
pool area too - the gym was very well stocked with lots of machines, however I do wonder how often it's cleaned/serviced because some of the machines definitely needed it. The
pool was great, as were the sauna and steam room, but I can imagine it...

"Really lovely old hotel, with a wonderful history if you’re interested in spy’s and the world wars. Food and decoration is great and the luxury wash products make everything smell wonderful. Open kitchen, a breakfast that’s worth the whole stay. The roads in are difficult if you don’t usually drive single tracks so opt to go in and out towards Milton Keynes as they are slightly easier to navigate or better for expensive cars and wheels. Mum and daughters pre wedding spa weekend.
"We came as a family, myself and 4 daughters for a pre wedding spa break. The rooms dl were very well appointed in the modern section of the hotel. We found the restaurant facilities to be of a high standard and the food was very good. It would have been nice to have waiter service for drinks when in the bar instead of having to queue at the bar but the cocktails were very good anyway so that made up for having to queue.
The spa facilities were very nice and the treatments were very good. We would have liked a jacuzzi but it didn't spoil the experience.Great gardens for a early morning walk"
