「Interesting and beautiful hotel set in lovely parkland and gardens. Good food in the brasserie and useful to know that one of the three restaurants is open each day. Plenty of parking and an hour from Calais so an excellent stopover.」

「Kamers waren redelijk schoon, de badkamer en toilet mogen schoner of vervangen. Lekkage kraan. Bij binnenkomst hing er een zure lucht in de kamer, maar die vervloog snel. Personeel achter de balie zeer vriendelijk. Accomodatie is simpel en prima voor een nacht op doorreis.」

「We were made to feel very welcome by the family. The room was spacious with a very comfortable bed and everything we needed. The en-suite was a room in itself, very well equipped; the shower was easy to use and accessible. Much appreciated too was the non-slip mat. Plenty of parking and for those with EVs, there is cheap 50kW charging 3km away at Planet Aire. We hope to return. We enjoyed the 3-course home-cooked dinner and the continental breakfast with eggs, cold meat, yogurt and more,...

「Talbot House is an experience. The common areas (living room, dining room) invite exploration, The English garden is quite beautiful. The continental breakfast was good. The bedrooms are attractive and comfortable, each equipped with a sink. There is one bathroom per floor and it is shared by all staying on that floor.」

「Lovely hotel in the centre of Ypres, close enough to the Menin Gate to hear The Last Post if you leave the window open. Staff are great, really helpful and the breakfast is awesome. Bonus points for the bed being big enough to play tennis on. This was our second visit and we're due back there at the end of this week.」
