Our stay at Hôtel Le Colombier felt like a true 5-star experience. The room was outstanding—spotless, beautifully maintained, and extremely comfortable. Nicely located hotel in the center of Obernai. For parking, the best option is the Place des fines herbes, but it can be a challenge to find a free spot (we didn’t when we arrived on Sunday late afternoon). Obernai is also central to visit many other places in the area: Strasbourg, Colmar, route des vins d’Alsace etc. We booked a “chambre privilège” on the first floor (corner room n° 108), it was clean and well equipped with a spacious bathroom. The windows could be opened and we had a small balcony facing Rue Dietrich. Walls are rather thin and closet space is limited (no drawers). Breakfast was more than OK for the price. Staff was very friendly and welcoming, also very swift to reply to our questions beforehand (for example we preferred a bathroom with shower). Would definitely recommend for a nice stay in the Elzas region.

A full shower!

Finally a hotel with a FULL shower: a glass door that completely closes on all sides. Incredible! The location is ideal, parking was free, breakfast selection was great, and the staff was incredibly helpful and friendly. Would definitely recommend this hotel.

A nice hotel

Hotel was nice and clean. Quite basic for the ££ to be honest - we were expecting a bit more. But as we were there for just one night it was ok. Main feedback would be to have some water available in reception (aside from the welcome bottle that’s there), and that the sofa in the family room was very uncomfortable and the bottom cushion’s continued to slip out. All in all though the staff were lovely, the location excellent and the bed comfortable. Only issue with location was how loud the church bells were - not great with a baby!

Great place for a stopover.

Good location for Obernai and walking distance to station to catch train into Strasbourg which is worth a visit. If eating out book your table in advance - they get very busy!

Beautiful little village & lovely hotel, all great apart from wifi in room was a bit flaky , I had to connect in the lobby then take laptop to room, other than that fantastic, :)

A great place

Great central location in most charming Obernai. Small but clean and modern looking room. The view from the 4th floor over the old roofs of the town is simply great.

Satisfactory and pleasant stay

Room was clean and comfortable. We had a twin sofa bed opened and it made a lot smaller. Likes: heater rack in bathroom, attentive and helpful staff, centralised location in town, hotel has elevator. Dislikes: room too small for a family. It would be better to have a double and a proper single bed in the room.

Nice hotel in middle of the city center of Obernai

Renovated hotel, lobby looks great. Quick check in, slow elevator. We had a refurbished room on the 4th floor. Bathroom and (seperate) toilet a bit outdated. But it is a big room, with good working airco and comfortable bed. I would recommened this hotel for a good a sleep. Parking is free on the square from 19:00 till 9:00 in the morning.
