We had a lovely, albeit short stay at the Wheelhouse apartments. The place was spotlessly clean, comfortable and had the most spectacular outlook over the harbour. The kitchen was well equipped if you wanted to have a night in. Bed was comfortable.

Absolutely stunning apartment with everything you need and more. Spectacular location with unbelievable views. Beautiful setup in every way. Can't wait to return for a much longer stay. Highly recommended for couples staying over in Strahan.

Very nice in many respects, gorgeous view. Property manager was very responsive. But bed is too small for two people. A small table outside would be nice. A car is essential if you don’t want a very steep walk back from town.

This apartment is beautiful! The view of Strahan Harbour both downstairs and upstairs just couldn’t be beaten. It is comfortable and stylish and convenient. It was scrupulously clean. We only had one night, but it was hard to leave.

Wow!!!! This would have to be the best accommodation I have ever stayed. Such a unique design and an absolutely amazing view. Do yourself a favour and stay here - you won’t regret it - unless you can’t manage steps - not suitable for those who are unable to climb steps.

Comfortable, however the couch is needing replacement along with the master bed, mattress and base needs replacement. Spa is average jets don’t all work. The upstairs shower leaks over the main entrance

Didnt sleep at all, bed incredibly uncomfortable. Stairs are very unsteady internally. Kitchen scant on utinsels. Spa was dirty. Some windows cant be opened. Air conditioner had black inside. Staying here ruined our trip because with no sleep we couldnt drive to cradle mountain to walk. Missed out. We checked out after one night because we couldnt go with no sleep again. Asked owner for refund for subsequent nights. She refused. Avoid!

Good but can be better

The main focus is on the view but the property needs a bit of love and a bit more money for small upgrades. On the downside the only thing we were put off by it was the BBQ , which wasn't clean at all and it couldn't be used. Such a shame when you have a view like that and there was no table outside in the little garden overlooking the water. Otherwise the place is great, you have everything you need for cooking, great shower upstairs. Also a place like this without flyscreens?? And in the bedroom.upstairs there is a portable aircon and in order to be used one has to take the exhaust hose out the windows, and there is no fly screen as I mentioned earlier.

Fantastic views!!! Property was a little unclean - lots of dust and old biscuit/chip crumbs on the floor. Staircase very noisy and felt unsafe.
