「Excellent village pub with great staff and atmosphere that matches its surroundings and in keeping with good old inn values. The chef provides a great variety of flavors and quality dishes all served hot and on hot plates. The stairs are somewhat challenging for the elderly and mobility impaired. I didn’t realize when booking that I could have requested a ground floor room. My bad - should have read the small print. Would definitely stay again if in the area.」

「This hotel is in an excellent position to the town. The staff were efficient and friendly and the breakfast was the best we've had in a hotel for a long time. Unfortunately the hotel is is need of an update. We had the first room (51) on the ground floor. This backed onto a courtyard outside the kitchen. 「A wonderful stay, friendly staff, comfortable clean room with very large bed. Amazing breakfasts and evening food. Safe parking and lovely location. Only minor issue was it was advertised on Expedia as separate shower and bath when in fact it was shower over bath. Thank you for looking after us.」

「Loved this place team are welcoming and very friendly. Menu is great so many different choices, I am on a diet and broke it for the delicious dishes. My room had Aircon which was a major bonus as it was 32. I have a bad knee which they accomadated for. Would stay again. Thank you」
