"We stayed one night at the Colonnade and then went to our reservation at the Burke Mountain Hotel and honestly, for the money, we should have stayed at the Colonnade. The beds were more comfortable! It was right in town, conveniently located. (It was off season so we were not there to ski, we were there for a class reunion). It was very clean and the room was spacious, and the people were very nice."

"The room was small. No chair, no couch, no place to put luggage out of the way. The shower stall door was broken and the bathroom was very small with no room to move around with two people. My husband fixed the blind in our room because it was broken. The water took 30 sec or more to get hot. Loved the breakfast."

"Although the staff was professional and friendly, three employees stood out. Valerie (desk clerk) is an absolute gem, I saw her greet each guest like they were truly old friends. She was genuine, kind and took care to ensure each person was treated appropriately. Melissa (housekeeper), was extremely helpful with responding and resolving my coffee machine. Derrick (the bartender) was very polite, well traveled and remembered my drink (Moscow Mule). I would have liked to have sat at the bar and watched the NBA Finals and order another drink but a young (19 year old waitress) woman stood behind the bar talking loud and nonstop to a couple about her travel experience through various states. She seemed nice and friendly but it wasn’t the time or place…"

"room was clean and the area surrounding was cute! just a little off putting that they don’t lock the front door at night. Although I understand your bedroom doors lock, there is still a concern for the lobby area. Breakfast was ok, decided to go into town instead. Would visit again though :)"

"No gym on the premises and the door to our room opened and closed really hard. The heat/air conditioner was confusing from lower floor to top floor. The room was gorgeous though and the wedding we were there for was great. Super fun spacious 2-floor room. Very nice! Walking distance to a lot of places nearby too."
