"Would have given an excellent rating overall but unfortunately during our stay there was too much street noise. And, some things could have used some maintenance: specifically windows need a good sanding and repainting, one window would only stay open propped up with a piece of wood, and there was a small area of paint peeling on the ceiling in the sitting room/bathroom. Understand older buildings are hard to maintain, especially when trying to retain the original fixtures, but the items needing maintenance were not recent. Breakfast was outstanding, especially the homemade bread and muffins, and the downstairs rooms are not to be missed."

"We stayed one night at the Colonnade and then went to our reservation at the Burke Mountain Hotel and honestly, for the money, we should have stayed at the Colonnade. The beds were more comfortable! It was right in town, conveniently located. (It was off season so we were not there to ski, we were there for a class reunion). It was very clean and the room was spacious, and the people were very nice."

"The room was small. No chair, no couch, no place to put luggage out of the way. The shower stall door was broken and the bathroom was very small with no room to move around with two people. My husband fixed the blind in our room because it was broken. The water took 30 sec or more to get hot. Loved the breakfast."

"room was clean and the area surrounding was cute! just a little off putting that they don’t lock the front door at night. Although I understand your bedroom doors lock, there is still a concern for the lobby area. Breakfast was ok, decided to go into town instead. Would visit again though :)"
