"You get what you pay for, and this is an affordable option in Barre. I stayed in a “single room” and was surprised at how big it was, very spacious, two beds. The room was very clean. The bed was comfy enough, the A/C worked great on an unseasonably hot weekend. It’s very dated, and the property and furnishings look to be at least 30 years old. I stayed in the cheapest room type, though, and it sounds like the other types of rooms are a bit nicer. I stayed w a large group and saw some of them. The person at the front desk was very friendly, and understanding when I forgot to return my (physical, metal) key and had to send it back w someone else staying there on my checkout day. The breakfast is very simple, continental, but they do have a waffle maker for a hot option, and the coffee was good enough. It’s very close to the grocery store, super convenient. If I ever needed to go back to Barre, I wouldn’t mind staying here again."
