"A last minute refusal by another property to honour our booking meant we had to quickly find an alternative. With hindsight, this was actually a good thing when we found this apartment. Marlborough was simply excellent. Lovely apartment, great view over the river, spotlessly clean, great location (convenient & quiet), easy reserved parking and lovely staff. Without a doubt will book here again on our next stay in the area. A great find."

"Didn’t smell fresh, Mattress and pillows need protectors,wand needed for blinds to open and close. Attention to detail, ie grout in shower,and kitchen worktop.Place mats for table and small coffee table would be useful for hot drinks."

"We stayed for three nights as a family with a young baby. The apartment had everything we could have possibly needed, and nothing was too much trouble during our stay. The place was clean, comfortable, spacious and had the most incredible views where we could sit and watch the ferry. We definitely hope to stay again!"

"Great communication from Donnini, great location, and the apartment had everything we needed. Sadly, having once been a luxury apartment, the property has suffered from a poor standard of cleaning and maintenance."

"We were only in the property a couple of hours before we were moved due to the building being unsafe. We were moved to an apartment at roughly 21:30 at night, we were moved to an apartment with no hot tub, as this was not the experience we were looking for we agreed with Donnini to leave the next morning and they would give us a full refund (we were booked for two nights). Over a week later Hotels.com and myself can’t get a response from Donnini and needless to say a refund hasn’t been...

"We stayed for 2 nights as were visiting family and friends nearby. Our room was large and comfortable. We slept well as it was so quiet and I enjoyed use of the pool and spa. We had our breakfast and evening meals in the bar/restaurant, which were excellent and reasonably priced. The staff were all very well trained and welcoming. We will return. "

"Stayed over a busy weekend of Horse Racing, with Ayr Racecourse directly accessible. Stayed within the hotel, as opposed to the courtyard. Big room, bug bathroom, had a substantial breakfast and chose to dine on the Friday night. Found the dining experience to be excellent. Staff are top notch too, very friendly with nothing too much trouble for the team. Top marks"
