「My sister and I booked the Allen House for the 4th of July weekend. We loved the property and the house is absolutely stunning. If you love old historical homes it's a great find. The owners were very kind and helpful and the food was so amazing!! We loved their dog captain and the room was very cozy and cute. 「Was not my first selection and wish I would have selected a different hotel. Very dated. Staff was great and very helpful but the hotel itself was in rough shape. Carpet in the room was dirty and felt sticky. We had a bug, silverfish, in our room. Went for breakfast 30 minutes before it was done being served and there wasn’t anything left. A comment was made by the staff that I need to give detail of my vehicle so no one would do anything to it. What does that mean?」
