「The Gillen House is a perfect destination if you are looking for a relaxing and peaceful getaway that is close to Athens and not too far away from Atlanta. The hosts, Edward and Cynzia, were very welcoming and made us feel at home. The food at breakfast was excellent. Especially the steaks and sides that we had for dinner on our arrival evening. The room was spotless and perfect. We definitely enjoyed our stay!」

「Room was comfortable, guest Wi-Fi account worked the first day, but could not connect the next three days. The refrigerator didn't stay cold...food did not stay cold. Shower curtains were dirty, mold around the tub and no water pressure.」

「Staff was amazing, rooms not so much, bathroom doors broken, lamps broken, phones broken, some phones didn't work, and the halls and lobby like 100°F. Price was really cheap, I had 2 rooms, we had to move one of the rooms due to no hot water in shower. At the end of the day, just a bed to sleep in and hardly that. I would hope some time soon owners decide that their guest and staff deserve a bit more.」
