「We booked at The Winchester last minute because of canceled flights and we were thrilled we did. The staff was friendly and the included breakfast was amazing. The location in Sea Point was great. Lots of walking and decent access to restaurants and shopping. We took in the sunset every night at the hotel bar, which had wonderful food and great cocktails. 「Moved to this hotel when we checked out early from a different hotel that was horrible. This hotel was great. Decor is a cool retro vibe. Room is very nice with a very comfortable bed. On the water, but still reasonably close to the CBD in a very nice neighbourhood with lots of dining options. Would highly recommend and would stay here again.」

「I felt very welcome and loved the overall atmosphere. The food was delicious, the room was comfortable, the staff were friendly and the area felt safe. Easy access to hiking trails just a few blocks away and downtown was walkable in under an hour (or uber was never more than a minute away). I would absolutely recommend and will definitely stay at the Villa Rosa again if I am back in Cape Town.」
