「In a great location, this simple hotel gives good honest service and accommodation, it overlooks the beach and the train station, from which you can travel back in time on a steam train. The town is just down the road and for bigger shops, there are 3 supermarkets 10 minutes walk away. You can walk along the promenade in either direction, and a visit to the harbour is well worth the walk. 「Lovely hotel full of character just over the road from the station. Big rooms have high ceilings . The bedroom was large and had a comfortable bed and a lovely big shower Breakfast was really tasty , Staff were very helpful I'm looking forward to my next visit .」

「We’ve stayed here before so knew what to expect. Lovely big room with tea/coffee facilities. Breakfast fab, came on a hot plate which was a bonus, good choice too. We also used the pool again great experience. Very close to the front and plenty of parking on site.」

「Booked as got stuck on the A303, nice staff, great breakfast and hard to argue with the price. My only minor criticism is being 6’3 the light they’d fitted to the single room was basically at face height so I cracked my head a couple of times getting in and out of bed. Otherwise would recommend for a cheap stay.」
