I stay here frequently for work. Rooms are very nice and clean. I don’t miss having staff there. The contactless system was odd at first but now I love it. Good value for a very clean, quiet, comfortable room.
Automated check-in (no front desk) worked well. Room was very clean and well appointed. Walking distance(paved path) to cute coffee shop (Fika); next door to Casey’s. Excellent value compared to options in Red Oak AND this motel allows pets. Would stay here again.
We loved everything about the room. Our beds were comfortable. The air conditioning worked so much better than most of the places where we stayed this week. We also appreciated the use of Roku. The water pressure was good. I have nothing bad to say about The Trail Inn. We would definitely go there again
This hotel is most certainly a hidden gem! Don’t let the looks of the outside fool you! It was an excellent stay, comfortable beds, clean rooms, and overall just a fantastic stay. 100% would recommend and would stay again!

This was a quiet place. Very clean. Casey’s nearby if you want something for breakfast. We had to call the front desk for WiFi password and Michael was very courteous and helpful. Would definitely stay again!
The only complaint i would have about my stay here is the outside mowing service started too early around our room! Very nice accommodations.i enjoyed my stay. Thanks.
Much better than we were expecting. No contact checkin, seamless. Room was nice, appeared recently updated, brand new roku tv. For the price, this was excellent!!
Stayed one night. No internet for tv to connect so we were not able to enjoy it. Bed are old and on the harder side. Check in was a but complicated as I am not a techy person.
