「This is my second stay the Hotel Settles and they didn’t disappoint. The kitchen is closed on Sunday nights, so we dined in the Pharmacy Bar and it was perfect. The staff was attentive and the food delicious (especially the crab & mozzarella arancini balls). We got to enjoy breakfast in the restaurant…I recommend the biscuits and gravy. The owner has restored the hotel to the original glory. My traveling party took a special route to make sure we stayed here…it’s a must see for anyone who...

「Overall the room is clean, the staffs (room service, kitchen) are friendly. However, the elevator is down without fixes on sight. Climbing 4 floors during hot Texas summer can be taxing. The checking out time can be a little more flexible. We asked the front desk if we can check out at 2pm due to a delayed event, after spending 5 nights. Unfortunately, we were denied, though the hotel doesn’t seem to be fully occupied due to the broken elevator.」

「The staff was friendly and made us feel welcomed. Unfortunately, when we walked into the room, the room itself was clean but our bathroom was completely trashed. Seemed like workers were fixing the restroom. Dirty towels everywhere. Trash on the floor and in the sink. Trash can was overfilled. No bed sheets for the sofa bed」

「The room was nasty. Stains on all the furniture. Couch cushions were ripping. The AC took all night to cool down the room. Shower had soap stains and the water pressure was horrible」
