"You only learned after booking that the owner would be in the basement at all times and moving cars around constantly. That was not explained in the listing. He also mowed the lawn while we were there, which was not pleasant while trying to nap. The keypad to enter the home doesn’t work properly and you have to type the code multiple times to finally enter. The beds are not comfortable at all. "The hotel is run down looking and none of the public doors facing the back of the building lock, which raised safety worries. The owners have implemented updates here and there, such as new carpeting in the hallway and nice looking gym, but the rooms are not actually renovated. The doors and walls are old and scratched up or show leaks. On the plus side, the front desk staff are very nice and helpful, they even offered to open the pool early for our kids."

"This location is tucked in a commercial area but is close to restaurants and shopping. It’s on the opposite side of the Hilton and the two different buildings share the indoor and outdoor pools. Breakfast was what you would expect with some different choices each day. The rooms were clean and staff was pleasant and helpful."

"Look, I booked the room because I wanted a cheap room for the night and I'm a guy who doesn't care that much about where I stay -- just need a place to sleep. I would NEVER take my family here. It's very beat up, the door on the sliding glass to the balcony didn't fully close or lock, the bed was pretty lumpy and not particularly comfortable, but the fridge/freezer worked, there was hot water in the shower, there were no critters in the room, it was clean for what it was. The WIFI did NOT work (or the bandwidth was exceeded and I couldn't use it). The air conditioning was fine -- comfortable. But just understand that the main thing here is a cheap place for the night."

"The floor in front of the bathroom was so damp with water. It looks like there was a leak or something. I went to talk to the staff but they were not there at night. Also the AC was so laud and I could not sleep until 4 am. I tried to turn it off but it wouldn't turn off as it is not synced with the thermometer."

"This was an absolute last resort hotel because I don't like to support companies that work with ICE, which has famously been Hilton. However, driving across the country with pets, options can be limited. Being the last night, it was extremely nice to have a 12pm check out time. However, it was not super nice to have house keeping asking me if I was checking out that day when it was 11:30. We definitely slept in longer than intended but it was really off putting to feel like we are inconveniencing the staff when we aren't doing anything wrong. Not only that but the house keeping person parked her carts right outside of our door, not making it any easier to move quickly. I spoke with the front desk person (Chuck) about this and he apologized and reassured me that I had plenty of time. Upon checking out, we had a nice conversation that left me feeling better about the stay but it's a hard pass from here on out. Extra money can go to a better stay with higher moral standards."

"All in all it was a nice hotel. However, 10 minutes before we checked in the the hotel lost power and the generator didn't kick on but the staff waived the parking fee for us so that was helpful. My only complaint is that the following day when my toddler was looking forward to going in the pool at 830 am we were told that we couldn't because they needed to clean it and that it wouldn't be ready for 2-3 hours because of the chemicals. Probably wouldn't have mattered too much during the week but on the weekend at a kid friendly hotel maybe clean it sooner so it would be ready for the kids and their families to enjoy."
