The air conditioning costs extra and almost doesn't work at all. The parking is way too small. The room was too small and poorly equipped. The staff was friendly and the hotel is in the center.」

For transport, buses and taxis are also nearby. The highlight for our five-night stay however was the suite itself which was new (2023), clean, modern and spacious. 「Given its proximity to the beachfront one would expect the Kastro apartments to be a lot more expensive yet they remain cheaply priced and fairly well looked after. Much of the bar, restaurant and rooftop terrace are new and the friendly and helpful staff really make it a highly recommended from me. The finishing touch was giving me a place to safely store my valuables so I could go have fun before my flight 5 hours later then even offering me a shower despite having already checked out. 」
