"Me and my wife went to Scotia Lodge for her birthday in March and we had the best moments. They have the best hospitality and the staff are so nice and helpful, they made everything so special for me and my wife. They decorated our room, brought some drinks and little gifts, we booked some massages and it was amazing. We definitely plan to be back!"

"I was pleasantly surprised how much we enjoyed this hotel! We only stayed one night as we were heading to the Redwoods but we really enjoyed our stay. The front desk was so helpful with kid-friendly restaurants and the warm cookies were a plus in our eyes. The pool and hot tub was great. Part indoor, part outdoor was a nice touch with the changes of the weather. Lots of towels and seating areas for us. Loved how the parking lot was well-lit with lights and decorative lights. Felt like my car was safe all night with it being so bright. Loved how they had BBQ grills as lots of guests were making dinner and interacting in a fun manner. Wifi was a bit slow but did the job. Jessie did a great job with breakfast. We didn't realize how later we were and snuck in right before 9am. She was super accommodating and checked in with all the remaining guests if anyone needed anything before she cleaned up - super conscientious! Very impressed! Will definitely be back! "

"We loved our time at the Gingerbread mansion. Oliva was an amazing host. Breakfast prepared each day was some of the best we have had. Snacks provided at tea time each day were also a big perk. The mansion was such a cozy experience. We loved our time spent at the mansion as well as exploring the town of Ferndale. Hiking and exploring the town made our time there very memorable. I fear future B&Bs may be ruined for me as this was my first time experiencing a true B&B experience and any future ones will have a lot to live up to! Highly recommend and thanks again to Olivia! "
