Wonderful stay in a very old pre-Victorian home in a small town full of the same. The home is full of period furniture and items. Amazing. Hosts were very accommodating to our needs and accessible when we desired information or help. Breakfast was delightful!

We were very pleased with our room, it was clean and nicely furnished. If anything I had yo say bad was the robes were very small. Thats it! Enjoyed the staff interaction and the food was good.

First time staying in a bed and breakfast. The owner Shannon was so wonderful! I have to rave about the chef…the breakfast was so delicious! Homemade butter with orange peel ?!! I never had it until now! Stayed two nights and every morning was different breakfast. And there were homemade cookies in the afternoon too! It was so fun eating with these fancy tea cups and plates with my 9 year old daughter!

We had a wonderful stay at Shaw House B&B and would highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area. The home is charming, beautifully maintained, and full of character, making it a warm and welcoming place to relax after a day of exploring. Our room was spotless, comfortable, and thoughtfully appointed with everything we needed. The hosts were incredibly friendly, welcoming, and happy to offer recommendations for local spits to visit and dining. One of the highlights of our stay was the breakfast—it was absolutely yummy! Everything was fresh, homemade, and delicious, and it was the perfect way to start the morning. One of my favorite moments was walking out the back door and seeing a deer right outside. It was such a peaceful surprise and added to the relaxing, nature-filled atmosphere of the property. From the hospitality to the cozy atmosphere, beautiful surroundings, and excellent location, Shaw House B&B exceeded our expectations. We would definitely stay here again on our next visit!

Breakfast was less than amazing. Sparse to our taste. Entire property is showing its age. We understand it's under new ownership so perhaps it will be spruced up as it deserves to be. Great location- walking distance to historical downtown and next door to the Hadley Garden. Amenity in bathroom included a bottle of body wash and one tiny bar of soap. Bed was very high and it was difficult to climb into for a short guest without help.

The orange french toast and yogurt parfait for breakfast were fantastic. The rooms were really nice and the staff was very attentive. Ferndale is like walking onto a hallmark movie set. Highly recommend this place if you are looking for a weekend getaway.
