Upon arrival and throughout our stay, Mandarin's hotel staff exceeded our expectations. There is plenty to do on the premises and the food was excellent. 「Wir waren begeistert und werden wiederkommen! Die Chatham Bay ist eine ca. 2km lange Bucht auf der windgeschützten Seite von Union Island. Die Anreise ist nur per Fähre und dann per Wassertaxi (ca. 20 min) möglich. Oder als Segler. Es gibt keine regelmäßigen Flüge nach Union Island. Die Bucht hat durchgehenden Sandstrand, der nach ca. 10m über eine kleinere Felskante in tieferes Wasser übergeht. Durch diese Felskante ist die gesamte Bucht ein Schnorchelparadies. Am nördlichen Ende der Bucht...

「Vi reser ofta men för oss var detta vår bästa resa. Detta berodde detta på närhet till stranden, lugn strand för härliga promenader, perfekt boende, familjär personal, 10 minuter med taxi eller minibuss till Port Elisabeth med dess affärer och restauranger, perfekt temperatur i luften och havet.」
