"The hotel, room, staff, food were all fabulous. From the welcome I received from the front door staff, who found the multi-tasking receptionist without being asked to moment I left the staff couldn’t have been more helpful. The room was lovely, it was clean, airy and the coffee bags were an unexpected treat (I’d expected the usual coffee tubes) the room was nicely decorated and not the soulless reliable repeatable version the big chains provide. The hotel is recommended and my first choice next time I’m back in the area. Parking is limited but I stayed on a busy Friday night and found s space. "

"A lovely unique property full of character. Very friendly and helpful staff. Being an old building with many original features it has its flaws but they add to its charm. All beautiful original windows so no double glazing. They rattle if it’s windy! Our room got very hot even with the radiator turned off due to the old water pipes. We opened the windows and issue was largely solved. The views over Menai Strait were spectacular. The restaurant is excellent and well worth making a reservation. We had dinner there on one evening and the menu was both original and beautifully presented. Service also faultless. This is an "

"Not the smartest hotel in the world but it makes up for this by the friendliness of the welcome with good sized clean and comfortable rooms that have an individuality not found in modern hotels. The barroom downstairs has a good selection of drinks and there are bar billiards tables. Just be aware there is no lift so stairs to rooms must be managed. After a good nights sleep breakfast awaits exactly as you ordered it"

"Lovely room and the beds were so comfortable! We followed advance about the parking in a very close car park so cheap and easy. We had an issue with towels which was sorted out immediately and communication has been great. The only thing we’d have liked is the ability to make a cup of tea, only a coffee machine was in the room, and they don’t get hot enough for tea. Small thing and wouldn’t stop us from coming back! Fab place. "

"Lovely house with everything we needed . Very comfortable beds, the house was cozy despite it being deceivingly large . Great location , very quiet street and just a very short walk into the town to Supermarkets and restaurants. We used this as a base for site seeing north wales . Less than 30 minutes to Llanberis to climb snowdon and visiting zip world. Would definitely stay here again. Matt was a great host , and was easy to communicate with. Thank you ."
