「Afternoon tea and breakfast offerings were always-changing and unique. We enjoyed the privacy of our cottage room, but the community of the house and dining. Cottage Inn staff was all friendly and helpful! The proximity to everything was very convenient. The water pressure was incredible as well.」

Nice breakfast which offers 2 different made to order options each day, with regular continental fare included. 「The location was great to walk to almost everything. Was able to take a trolley to the park for a tour which we would highly recommend. The room was very clean. Shower was great lots of pressure. The gifts that were left in the place was very thoughtful. Would definitely recommend for anyone we know coming to Maine - bar harbor. 」

「This was a disaster! We booked this room as part of our honeymoon and we ended up getting sick from it and having to cut our stay short. The room was awkward and strange but that’s manageable. What we couldn’t stand was the intense smell of bleach that make us cough and burned our eyes and sinuses. I don’t know what they were trying to cover up but it made us sick. 「The Inn is so cute and cozy. The wallpaper in living room and dining room is eye catching and makes it feel like a home. I stayed in Room 11 and the bed so comfortable and there was plenty of room. It had a detached bathroom right across the hallway which was your own. I would stay here again when I come back up to Bar Harbor! You can walk to the village center in about 20 minutes 」
