"We enjoyed our stay at Doubletree. Our room was beautifully clean and very comfortable. The room included a small chaise long as well as a desk chair. Another nice touch was the magnifying mirror in the ensuite shower room. Staff were friendly and helpful. Good value for money. "

"The hotel is city based, noise expected and received - cold room / tiny dungeon pool which is not even nearly a spa at extra cost was an unpleasant surprise - big queue at check in as everyone scrambles with extra charges and booking pool time - not recommended very disappointed. Booked over our normal cost per night as a treat - Bristol has better - made a mistake !"

"DISAPPOINTED. We have stayed at The Bristol Hotel numerous times and loved it. This time however was horrendous. There was a wedding downstairs which is fine, but the whole room was vibrating. mentioned this to room service which stated it doesn't go on for long, it did. The windows were like paper, we could hear everything on the street below so clearly that i thought the windows were open. i did mention this to front desk in the morning, the reply was slightly annoying considering how nice the chap was. It cant have been the wedding making the music noise and vibration. It most defiantly was. I understand that Bristol on a weekend is lively which i am not apposed to, but the windows being that bad really shouldn't be the case. Also, to be told that i was wrong felt a little rude. On that note the room service was incredible and the food that they delivered was amazing. The bad experience will make us think twice unfortunately about booking again, which is a shame as its a great hotel and we really like it. But room 223 is letting it down. "
