We spent a wonderful week at Coral estate and would love to return. The resort is small, but we liked that, it has more of a boutique feel but with resort amenities. The staff were very helpful. The ocean is beautiful and the best snorkeling directly from shore that we found on the island was here. One thing to note, we booked a deluxe apartment for our family of four and did not realize that the bedrooms are completely separate with exterior doors only. As a family with young children, I did not love this but the staff were very helpful in making it work for us. When we return, I would book a different room for that purpose. Otherwise, everything was great.

Estuvimos por cuatro días, de los cuales solo dos hicieron la limpieza. Reclame y me dijeron que las señoras de la limpieza ya se habían ido y tenía que regresar hasta el día siguiente. Por otro lado en el paquete deluxe ofrecen la piscina como privada pero no es así, hay que conpartirla con 11 parejas. Nos gustó las instalaciones para descansar pero no hay playa en el resort. Tiene una linda vista al mar y puedes sacar buenas fotos. Si vas a ordenar comida en cualqyiera de sus restaurantes tienes que hacerlo con mucha anticipación, pues demoran mucho en servir.

Das Hotel hat insgesamt eine schöne Anlage und wir hatten einen guten Aufenthalt. Es gibt jedoch einige Dinge, die man vor dem Aufenthalt dort wissen sollte: Zu aller erst liegt das Hotel in einer sehr isolierten Lage. Ein Mietwagen ist unbedingt notwendig! Auch liegt das Hotel in einer Gated Community, was es zwar sicher macht, aber von der Umgebung vollkommen abschirmt. Hat uns nicht so gefallen. Das Essen in den Restaurants ist lecker, jedoch überteuert. Wir hatten das Gefühl, dass dies mit der isolierten Lage zu tun hat, weil Gäste so "gezwungen" sind die hohen Preise zu bezahlen. Die Zimmer sind groß, jedoch eher einfach eingerichtet und in die Jahre gekommen. Pool und Strand sind für Hotelgäste nicht inklusive, da sie offiziell nicht zum Hotel gehören! Für die Nutzung des Pool und des Strandes muss ein Mindestbetrag an Speisen oder Getränken konsumiert werden. Dazu gab es keinen Hinweis auf der Homepage oder bei Expedia. Das ist aus unserer Sicht nicht sehr transparent. Die Liegen an Pool und Strand können auch von Tagesgästen genutzt werden, was dazu führt dass die Liegen oft voll sind. In anderen Hotels gibt es eine Begrenzung an Tagesgästen, damit es genügend Liegen für Hotelgäste gibt. Das ist hier nicht so. Sehr gut hat uns das freundliche, hilfsbereite Personal gefallen und die Nähe zum Meer, wobei das Schnorcheln an anderen Stränden besser ist. Schön war auch die Terrasse unseres Zimmers, von der aus wir viele Vögel beobachten konnten.

The chairs inside and out need improvement--tired and not comfortable. The cookware, cutlery, and accessories were a 2/5 at best. Definately not an upscale style. We would not come back unless we knew the above was much better.

We had a garden apt. With outdoor kitchen and living space. This was excellent and very comfortable and useful. We cooked many meals, as we tend to do on vacation. Our 2nd bathroom did have a bad smell from the drain, which was unpleasant. We remedied that by keeping the window in the bathroom open and a towel at the botttom of the door, using the other bathroom 100% of the time. The bedroom was fine after that. The grounds and snorkeling were excellent.

We struggled with the decision between the Marriott Beach resort and Coral Luxury Estate. We are glad we chose the latter. However, if you are from the US, you need to prepare yourself for the relative nature of the term luxury. In the US, it might be rated a three star +. Take a few extra towels, trash bags,A make-up mirror, your own shampoo, conditioner & soft toilet paper that is septic safe. They do not have tissues in the room, so remember those as well. Be prepared to to pay for food or beverages in order to use the pool or the beach front chairs. If you have these realistic expectations, addressed ahead of time, I believe you will likely enjoy your stay. The lodging staff is friendly, and the views are wonderful. The restaurant is only ok in our opinion, they are managed separately.

Just felt it was lacking in areas for the price point. Overall, slow service at expensive restaurants. It looks lovely and we enjoyed the setup up of the outdoor living space and view of the garden. The cushions on the concrete benches were really uncomfortable. One room smelled of sewage off and on. Beautiful views of the ocean and saw some neat fishes while snorkeling. Entrance to the ocean via beach is down a set of stairs.

It was my first time in Curacao and i am actually glad that i chose Coral Estate as my stay especially as a solo traveler. The property is very secure-has security when to enter at the resort, its very clean, spacious rooms, friendly stuff, delicious food.. a big thank you to the stuff who made my stay amazing but especially Thaelis who went above and beyond to make my stay even better. Also, if you want to explore Curacao i highly recommend to get in touch with "myronchitrip" on ig. He will drive you around and show you unique spots in Curacao for a very affordable price. Overall my whole stay in Curacao was amazing, did not expect to be this good, will be back again.
