"This is an excellent hotel. Great service and very comfortable. Breakfast was standard breakfast buffet but with very high quality food. Bar and food great and reasonable for a hotel of this quality and location Wouldn't look anywhere else. "

"This is an impressive grand old hotel with professional, friendly staff. We really enjoyed its position on the seafront and its two pools. However, parts of the hotel are very dated and staff were overwhelmed at breakfast, which meant service was slow and detracted from overall experience. The bed was too soft and pillows old and flat. The bathroom was a museum piece! For these reasons, we felt it was very overpriced.It needs alot of money spending on it to modernise it."

"Mould covered the bathroom walls, old out dated mixed furniture, four poster bed no curtain. The curtain rail missing in most places, which needed a good paint job. mattress kept coming off bed. No Pressure in shower. Tv put on wall lopsided, no one on reception, and when you finally caught up with host she was rude!! Asked us to leave room a day early she'd double booked room!! Dreadful "
