Beautifully kept, phenomenally maintained with the most beautifully kept gardens. It truly was a quaint and peaceful motel stay. And the restaurant next door was great!

Stayed 3 nights and it was great! Everything I needed was provided in the room. Armand was very friendly and helpful. Would definitely stay there again.

Smaller motel where you can park at your room door which is so convenient, gorgeous flowers everywhere on the grounds, kids playground, corn hole, chairs outside, windows with screens in the room for fresh air which is rare in hotels, more than enough electrical outlets to plug in your devices, hotel is on the route of Shepler’s fairy free shuttle to pick up for Mackinac island , comfortable bed with a pull out sofa, staff extremely friendly , lots of restaurants close by - would definitely stay again

If you’re looking for a nice roadside motel, that’s very clean cottage looking with a fridge microwave and Keurig coffee at a good price. This is an excellent place to go. My husband and I enjoyed it. The only thing I would suggest is get a room away from the main road we were in room two and the cars are loud from the road so it took us a while to get to sleep besides that it was very nice. Also not right in downtown but only about 2miles away

The property was beautiful, with gardens and flowers. It is located on a busy highway but that's easy to forget while sitting among the thousands of pretty flowers. The room was a bit small, with a shower that might prove challenging for a large person. It is also convenient to a restaurant next door.

AMAZING, beautiful property! Our room #5 had everything we needed. Even had paper bowls to warm things in the microwave! Check in/out was seamless. The motel is out of town & has the most beautiful flowers & landscaping including several areas to sit outside & enjoy nature. We ate at the nearby Fred’s Up North Dining & Truck Stop restaurant & it was fabulous, fresh, home cooked meals. Thanks Sunset!! Many blessings!!💐

A gem. Small and basic room but everything you will need . VERY clean with new, quality furniture. Nothing shabby or worn. Bathroom shiny clean and shower worked great. Bed really comfortable. All you need at a great price. Family owned . They take pride in their establishment. The flowers on the grounds take your breath away! We will stay here again when in St. Ignace. Again…a gem!

The staff helped me add a night when we realized we would be arriving a day early. The concierge answered all my questions about the shuttle to the ferry in town, which saved us the $15 parking fee at their lot, very nice. The rooms were clean and spacious enough (really good design, I thought). We sat in the front garden for happy hour, and then we walked to Johnny's on 2 for a rather excellent dinner. I would stay here again.

Wow! This motel was really a nice surprise. The easiest check-in to a hotel or motel I have ever had. The staff were upbeat and helpful. The landscape with all the flowers was outstanding! The room had a nice fridge and a microwave. It was clean and didn't smell like chemicals like other motel and hotels do. You can back up right to your door. Most importantly the price was half the price of rooms in Mackinaw City in which we have stayed, and much nicer.

This motel is super nice. Completely updated and very clean. There is even a nice dinner restaurant next door that is open until 11pm. Beds were comfy. Ditto for the loveseat. Kurieg is nice. Shower was great. The Wolof is good and there are plenty of places to charge all my stuff. Whoever put this room together knows what travelers need.

The motel is the old style where you drive up to the door of your room. And the room was very basic. But it was just what we needed. Clean, comfortable and very convenient. It's located right on the highway and the Mackinac Island Ferry shuttle stops here when you call. It was so nice to just park at the motel and be picked up instead of having to drive down to the St. Ignace dock and pay for parking. Armand is very kind and helpful and as you can see from the photos he has a very impressive garden. It really makes the motel stand out.
