「To begin, upon our arrival, there were several individuals in the lobby who appeared to be local residents loitering in the area. The lobby itself was generally unclean, creating a poor first impression. The elevator was also dirty, and the hallway leading to our room had a strong animal odor. 「The room was clean and no real signs of wear. Plenty of shopping and restaurants nearby. The staff was friendly. Parking seemed ok. Unsure if there were additional spots along the back or side of property.」

「Had the worse experience! I will never stay here again. We arrived at the hotel at almost 9:30 from a 10hr drive. Get everything situated at check in, we head up to our room and we walk to a dirty room, trash still in the room dirty sheets piled up on the couch, bed unmade like someone just rolled out of it. 「During the visit, the property look good in the beginning, there were bugs coming out of the electricity sockets. Later that day when I ask the staff for another cloth and towel, he told me that there weren’t any more and that I would have to wait until morning. Not to mention, he made me sit there and wait for three minutes while he counted and recount his money, Will not be staying again.」

「Mary @ Front Desk was more than just that, she is a superstar and made us feel important and not invisible. She went above and beyond to help us when our reservation was canceled even after we were checked in.... it was a nightmare, but she helped us immensely. I will recommend The Spark to anyone traveling in Waldorf! We will also be back in the future.」

「Cockroach on 2nd floor. Bug in my room. Carpet from the 90s. Bathroom not clean. I asked for a room near the elevators and he put me at the exit door. Very disappointing considering I had stayed multiple nights. I won't be back. Staff unfriendly.」
