「Enjoyed our stay at Gopuram Grand, Madurai. The hotel was clean, the staff were courteous and helpful, and the breakfast was good. The location is excellent, with easy access to the Meenakshi Amman Temple. The TV channels worked fine, but we were unable to connect to the hotel’s Wi-Fi on either the Smart TV or our iPhone during our stay. A minor issue that could be improved. Overall, a comfortable and pleasant stay, and we would recommend it to visitors to Madurai.」

「The room we were staying in had lot of noice due to some loading /unloading of material from trucks, we just couldn't sleep. We had complained about it the hotel staff and manager even on the first time but it was of no use, same loud & annoying noises came on the second day also. While checking out we complained about it the manager and asked for some compensation but sadly it was denied. Have a very bad impression about the hotel.」

「The room was impossibly dark giving an overall sense of dinginess that under scrutiny was fully deserved. The carpets and furnishings were well worn and there was an overall sense of tired malaise about the whole environment. The much vaunted evening buffet was of a comparable condition having been prepared well in advance of anticipated dining times. Equally the breakfast lacked the freshness of immediate preparation. The staff were enthusiastic and helpful but I suspect needing more guidance...
