「Cleaners really helpeful, let me check my bags in early in order to attend a wedding a few miles away. Would love to stay a little longer next time. Also breakfast in the cafe was excellent. Thanks for the stay」

「Easy check in at the bar, our room was small but fine for us, the only thing lacking is a mini fridge. The hosts and locals are great, friendly and down to earth people. The food is excellent and they serve well kept beers at a reasonable price. I would definately reccomend this place and we will stay again. 👍🇬🇧 」

「It was a lovely stay in a lovely location. A car is essential when staying here. I have one criticism. Whoever stayed previously obviously brought a dog that smelled. The odour was strong and pungent in the lounge and despite us ventilating the room it was still present when we left. Apart from that the cottage was fabulous. Thank you too for the welcome pack.」

「Place is very close to the train station and right inside one of the gates of the York city walls. My only complaint is that we booked the hotel choosing the “pay at hotel” option as we are travelling as a group of friends but one person was doing all the booking, but they charged us on the reservation credit card before we arrived, rendering that option completely meaningless to us.」

「Big, clean room that was everything I needed for three nights in York. Was able to store my luggage after check-out. Smooth stay :)」

「The apartment was excellent, well appointed and in a good convenient central location. What let it down was the parking. This was 20mins walk away, but this was not made clear until after we had booked. Also the check in procedure for the parking was difficult. It took us an hour to get this done. To be fair once we gave up trying and rang the owner he sorted it out immediately.」
