We had a 3 nt stay. I got a king bed suite since I knew we'd be spending a bit more time in the room for this get-away. The room(s) were spacious, the refrig worked great. Housekeeping was a "request" which we did not do. There were only 3 towels in the BR, but we were managed. We did have to ask for an extra tp roll on our last night. The breakfast offerings were the standard fare. Staff was always friendly, parking was easy enough. ***In the high travel season, I can assume the parking lot would get full so not sure where extra parking would be. The location was great if you're going to all the historical sites!

Breakfast and coffee not available until 7, clearly the hotel had been given a “facelift”, but ceilings, HVAC and stairwells showed it was an old hotel they tried to make nice.

The entire place wasn't as clean as I expected. First impressions are everything. There were crumbs everywhere because it had not been vacuumed. The furniture and tables have not been dusted for a while.

Great value for a limited amount of hotels in downtown Springfield. Room was spotless,good cable and strong water pressure. Thats all I need.

At check-in, we noticed the garbage can in the lobby overflowing with garbage. The ladies bathrrom in the lobby had 4 stalls; one with no TP, another where the door didn't close, toilets barely flushed. .Upon entering the room, we found a dirty toilet. They did come clean it. Very little soap/shower get. I don't think the breakfast eggs were actually eggs, but there were other options (yogurt, bagels, toast, fruit and basics) that were good. Nice staff. Wouldn't return.

The rooms were ok. Way too hot in the room , couldn’t get the thermostat to work properly. Coffee could be better especially in the lobby, second day we were there the coffee in the lobby didn’t work. Breakfast on the weekend starting at 7:00 am, We were there for a wrestling tournament. 7:00 on a weekend not very accommodating. Only saw one gentleman filling up the food. Never saw anyone check on the two small coffee pots or wiping any tables during breakfast. A lot of issues with our keys not working. A few of my other families that were with us and us would not recommend this hotel or we will not be staying there next year if needed. Our room was not the cleanest when we walked in. The water pressure in the shower was good. Breakfast food would have been better if it was hot.

We booked 2 rooms and requested connecting rooms when we booked the rooms a week ahead of time. At check In the lady told us we had connecting rooms yet when we got to our rooms they were across the hallway from one another. We went down to the front desk and were then told by another person they do not have connecting rooms. Somehow we have a door in our room that looks like it connects to another room and we could open it so we were obviously being lied to. So many other issues were the key cards not working at times for both rooms so we had to keep going back and forth to the front desk to have them reset due to their outdated key card system. There was peeling paint on the ceiling in our room, tv was not hung straight, coffee was not ready at the start of breakfast at 7am both mornings we were there and there were no cupholders so we had to double up cups each time to avoid burning our hands, toilet was running and needed to be fixed, we only had 2 small pillows for a queen size bed and the front desk would only give us 1 more pillow, not 2. Our room was spacious and clean, but no mini fridge which seems standard nowadays and there was definitely room for it. The lobby was nice.

It was really cold. The thermostat didn't work so the room was a constant 60 degrees all night. Rooms were dirty and the furniture was dilapidated.

Loud room. The noise of the HVAC system woke me throughout night. With earplugs. Towel rack in backroom positioned right above shower faucet so be careful you don't crack your head on it.

Room was fine. Front desk didn’t know where the Bank of Springfield Center was (being only 6 blocks away). Breakfast at 8:30 had no forks, no apple or orange juice, no fruit, warmers not refilled. Lastly key card to room door did not work well and thermostat in bedroom wouldn’t keep room warm.

Everything was neglected! Had to get light bulbs for lamps immediately as room was dark. No refrigerator! Mattress was lumpy and uncomfortable. No list of TV stations, info for house amenities, restaurants nearby. 1 tiny bar of soap, breakfast was meager, and unappetizing!
