Took a while to check in (had to wait a while on the front desk clerk to return) A Little wear and tear cosmetically, but our room was clean, staff was friendly.

The staff were very friendly and accomodating. The building itself shows some age and wear (broken faucet, water pressure, etc), but it was clean and easy to access. Overall, it was a good stay for our group.

It was very nice and comfortable. I found the shower gels and shampoos were not very good or cleansing. I preferred bar soap and had to track down the cleaning staff to get a little more soap.

The lobby looks nice and recently updated but that is where it ends. The elevator was questionable at best, the hallway to our room had marks and scratches all over the place. Then our room, walk in, initially seemed ok. Found a hair tie on the floor, suggesting they didn’t vacuum very well. Then noticed the carpet that goes on the wall is coming off, 2 pieces of tile were broken and falling off of the wall; one did completely fall off after the door closed at one point; and the curtains which were directly over the a/c unit had what appeared to be mold on it. My husband and son wanted to go to the pool but the water was freezing so that was not happening. Needless to say we won’t be staying there again.

I stayed for the first time there an it was exactly what I expected a hotel to be like. The staff was very helpful, my room was clean, tidy, the ac worked great. The shower was hot. It was very quiet throughout the night.I slept great and the breakfast was amazing! I will recommend this hotel to anyone, and I will definitely be booking another room with them in the future.

I’ve stayed at a Spark before and it was great. This one was a poorly refurbished old dirty hotel. Getting ready to shower, there was no hot water! I had to call maintenance, they came, fixed the broken handle… but took an extra 30 min with me standing in a towel.

The hotel is far too expensive for what you'll find. The whole hotel smells bad, the carpets are filthy, the bed smelled bad too, and the breakfast was awful—you can't even call it breakfast, just cold boiled eggs. If you're looking for a clean place, don't go to this hotel.
