"Poor check in. Rooms weren’t ready and the front desk staff weren’t very helpful. We were gratefully given rooms beside each other, as previously requested. Beds were very comfortable and the rooms were laid out very well. There was a small blood stain on a pillow case as well as the bathroom was not cleaned very well. No conditioner. The hotel is in an excellent location with beautiful surroundings right beside the riverfront park. Very nice lounge & restaurant."

"I love the location of this hotel. They have a great pool, access to a trail along the river just right outside, and the restaurant is really good. The parking lot can get really crowded which is kind of a pain, but other than that we really enjoy staying here when we come to town."

"Checking in was very easy, super helpful team and very welcoming. Room was clean and space was perfect. Outdoor patio-sitting area was neat Facilities were clean and well maintained - absolutely staying there again when we go back to Spokane"

"The room was clean and bed was comfortable. The shower was probably the highlight because the water pressure was good and it was hot. We saw promotions everywhere about warm cookies upon arrival, we were offered and given 0. We were looking forward to the hot tub which was out of order. There were no towels in the pool area, called the front desk asking if some could be brought out so that we didn’t drip water all over the floors, 20 minutes later still no towels. I would suggest taking your room towel just in case."

"Visiting Spokane for a race and the check in was easy, staff was very pleasant and helpful. Easy access to all amenities in Downtown. We always enjoy our stay at the Montvale."
