「This property is wonderful.. it's out in the country. Probably 20 miles from Saracusa, And that is what the issue is: If you drive to the property, no problem at all. But if you take a taxi, be prepared to exist on only the breakfast that they offer. The breakfast is wonderful, no hot food, but everything else you could ask for in a bed and breakfast-tyoe breakfast. But there is no lunch or dinner available. So if you take a taxi you're going to have to be very imaginative about how to eat for...

「Breakfast menu was fresh, delicious and varied.Eggs any style are made to order. Staff very attentive. Location of hotel is perfect for overlooking the bay and at night for cocktails at the rooftop lounge and restaurant. Hotel is well located for visiting Ortygia with many nearby restaurants and shops. 」

「Palazzo Del Sale is a gem. Giovanni was so welcoming and friendly, as were his staff and dog Gigi. At check in we were treated to a cappuchino before Giovanni helped us with our bags up to our room. The location of the hotel is perfect for easy walking around beautiful Ortigia. Our room was clean, spacious and comfortable and having the patio just outside our door an added bonus. I highly recommend the Palazzo Del Sale and look forward to visiting again. 」

「Very friendly and helpful receptions. The location is very convenient. We had an issue with the aircon late at night. I was told the next day that the aircon was fine that is was in sleep mode. As we stayed 1 night it didnt matter but definitely its not easy to use if thats the case. The bed light on/off is tricky but the hotel does explain to you during checkin. It was a nice laugh with the family trying to figure it out!!! 」

Chambre correcte mais sombre et peu spacieuse, salle de bains très simple avec cabine de douche étroite. Pas de cafetière, juste une bouilloire. Heureusement nous avons pris une supérieure avec terrasse, qui nous a permis d'avoir plus d'espace et de lumière. Bon petit déjeuner. 「Very Relaxing. A lot of space. Near to Syrakus and beaches (Vendicari). Nice look at the sea (but no real own beach). Terrace. 」

「Wasn’t made 100% clear how to check in. It turned out I could have checked in before arriving but it was only when I reached the property and called the number that it was made clear to provide city tax proof of payment and id. After this hiccup however the apartment was great and central close to the old market and temple of Apollo 👍👌😊」
