「I was not told there was a pool. Staff just checked me in and did not say anything else to me. Inside was good. No bugs. The bathroom ceiling has peeling paint and the floor by the sink was filthy. 「Only drawback was no restaurant/bar. Not far down the road though. However, I was shocked how wonderful it was. Quiet as can be, never seen a room so clean and spacious including an open Bible on the nightstand, owner is super nice, easy to check-in as there’s no staff there and you just grab a key with your name on it out of a box, RV park, too. 「I stay for the convienence to friends and have stayed at this Red Roof several times. Pet friendly. Place is clean and well lit. Only downside is that they need to keep up with maintence. I found the toilet seat very worn and missing mount pad. AC units do not seem to remove humidity from the room and settings would not accept what was put in. 」

「It’s an older, renovated property. It’s perfect for someone that needs a place to lay for a night or 2. Staying there longer would be uncomfortable. Must enjoy stairs as there is no elevator. Ice machine wasn’t working so we would’ve had to see the tweaker working the desk. 」

There was visible black mold surrounding the bathtub, the sheets appeared unclean with stains and crumbs (we did not feel comfortable sleeping in them and slept fully clothed on top), and the entire room had a strong musty odor.
