"King room was spacious and very clean!"

"I'm not entirely sure why this is a 3 star hotel. The rooms are a bit dated. Room service wasn't served on a rolling cart which made it rather weird to eat considering there is no dinette. There is a work desk, but doesn't accommodate 2 people eating. The shower was a bit awkward considering when you turn on the shower you must be in the shower and the water sprays on you while you adjust the temperature. There is no where by the bed to plug in your phone for charging. There is an alarm clock with a USB port, but it is so slow it never really charged the phone. The Cantina closes at 5, which seemed odd. The A/C didn't seem to really cool the room. It wasn't unbearable. I just like to sleep in a very cool room. I will say the staff was very pleasant and accommodating. Everything seemed very clean. The room wasn't super expensive. But room service was very expensive, as it usually is. The risotto was undercooked, but the chicken was good. The steak tacos were ok, except the steak was very tough. Burrata salad was ok. Needed a bit more dressing. Charcuterie was just ok. Desserts were pretty darn good. Would I stay here again, sure, if I got a really great rate. "

"Breakfast mostly carbs but had hard boiled eggs and juice. The AC unit was kept room cool We were surprised that no one told us there would be no room service (fresh towels, etc) on our 2nd day. We had to track someone down to get a couple more towels. "

"Everything was amazing the staff was amazing. We had a great and comfortable stay."

"Clean room comfortable bed and friendly staff but the gym had mussing weights no water, towels, mirror. Probably the worst fitness center Ive ever seen. Breakfast was mediocre and coffee was very watered down. The water dispenser was broken."

"Room was quiet and the bed was comfortable. Breakfast was good - only hot food was waffles, but breads, hard boiled eggs, yogurt, cereals, juices and coffee were more than adequate."

"Wi-Fi was very spotty, bathroom door wouldn’t close, outlets were worn out and cords wouldn’t stay plugged in. Which is a fire hazard. Toilet seat was very flimsy. Breakfast was terrible, eggs had cheese wiz in them and bacon had no flavor. Worst was the smell of Pot everywhere. Wouldn’t stay again."

"We love the pelican and stay here every time we come to t or c! Getting to soak in the healing waters as part of your stay is the best. It was confusing to try to book on Expedia with a child (7 y/o) - they kept seeming to imply that the room would accommodate 3 people with only one queen bed and when I called to ask the staff he said they expect that to mean the child would sleep in the bed with us?! We knew the pelican has pull out sofa beds but apparently they don’t advertise that anymore - which also made it challenging to book - apparently some rooms have it and some don’t. We did book a room with a sofa bed but they didn’t supply sheets and we got in late so our kiddo had to just use a blanket the first night. They didn’t resupply the little coffee machine in the lobby our last morning. The staff seemed to be hit or miss, one person was very friendly, another one seemed to kind of care less and another kind of acted like we were inconveniencing him when we wanted to soak. "
