「Simple old fashioned elegance without being pompous. The Victorian themed nature collections of leaves, shells, butterflies, etc. that decorated the lobby, elevator, and halls were fascinating and added to the ambience of a step back in time. Dinner cuisine at the Larks Kitchen was beautifully prepared and served.」

「Lovely property with very nice rooms in a quiet area. Comfortable bed and pillows. Nice coffee and light breakfast offerings in the lobby. This is a great spot to stay for area wine tasting. 」

「Renee and Shannon are the best. We had such a great time there. Don’t feel like leaving. They are so welcoming and helpful. Location is very convenient, easy to access any restaurants. Breakfast is super delicious 😋 」

「The staff were all very helpful. The carpet in the room had large spots, I reported it so not to be charged. They are aware as they are gradually remove all carpet. Couldn’t change us to a handicapped room but provided a shower chair. We like it being by the river will stay again. 」

「The Stratford is very reasonably priced and in easy walking distance to town and the theaters. We have stayed here while attending OSF many times starting in 1986. We appreciate having a small fridge and microwave in the room, plus Safeway right across the street. It is an older property but generally in good condition. 」
