"The staff was"

"We loved our stay at Hyatt Regency Houston West. It’s a beautiful hotel. I feel bad because I didn’t get the name of the gentleman who checked us in, he was so kind and helpful. Also when we were passing by the cafe, the lady working was about to go on break but she was kind enough to let me in and allowed me to order a cafe mocha, which I really appreciated. Our room was so nice and clean. Bed was so comfortable and I slept so good. The same gentleman who checked us in also checked us out and I asked him about feeding the Kio fish and he handed me the food and I absolutely loved feeding them!!! We didn’t get to enjoy their pool but we are looking forward to that our next stay. I highly recommend staying here at this hotel, it’s not only beautiful but their staff is amazing and customer service is excellent! The hotel is also convenient in location, right off I-10, not far from City Centre and memorial city mall. Thank you."

"Nice facility"

"So where do I start. The rooms online does not match seeing it in person. The first room on the second floor was a mess. The smell of the second floor was really bad. Mold smelling. Get in the room floor very slippery and the smell omg. So they moved us to another room. It was a little better. No smell and clean I guess the way they think it should be cleaned. But it will do. Towels needed but had to wait until the morning for clean towels. Ok whatever but the staff didn’t really understood what I was saying so I just direct all questions to the front staff. I will not be staying here again. Great location but it’s not for me. To many issues. Patio door didn’t open, microwave in the room was very nasty. If they do done renovation to this place. It really would be a great hotel to stay at."

"Check-in wasn’t great. I had to call to someone from the back after a couple minutes and then wait for her to get off her cell phone. I had a question about the cafe (which is just their bar/restaurant), but she seemed in a hurry as others were waiting too. Then I - along with about 10 guests- waited for five minutes for an elevator to reach the lobby. Guests said this was happening a lot (it was my only time). Finally the shower in my room didn’t drain properly, so I was standing in water. Overall, disappointing and overpriced in my mind"

"I had a short stay. I was only there for a concert. I didn’t have to the time to enjoy the whole weekend. For the most part things were clean. I do suggest they start looking down when cleaning and behind the trash bins in rooms. The staff were welcoming of course, the complementary coffee bar was a nice idea. "

"Loved the location, the amenities (pool, gym, patio with bar), and the room. Staff is friendly. The breakfast buffet is mid, but I assume the actual menu items taste better. I would definitely recommend and stay here again. Parking in the garage was $20 a day."
