The dead lizard in the room was a bit of an unexpected surprise. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The shuttle to the airport was useful with all the luggage - but a bit quirky when departures backs on to the hotel The big plus for an early riser was the 7-11 in the nearby multi-storey carpark. "

"We stayed at Carlton Hotel Singapore for six nights and overall had a pleasant stay. The location is excellent — within easy walking distance of many restaurants, shopping areas, and major tourist attractions, which made exploring the city very convenient. Our room was clean and comfortable, and the hotel worked well as a base for our time in Singapore. The only downside was the late-night check-in experience. We arrived around 2 a.m., and the staff member on duty was not particularly welcoming and made the process more difficult than expected. Considering Singapore’s usually high hospitality standards, this was a bit surprising. Aside from that moment, the stay was comfortable and the location remains a strong advantage of this hotel."
